As a local group committed to helping local causes, the Harmonium Singers have a long-standing tradition of donating as much money as possible to local charities from funds raised through our performances. Charities we’ve helped in the past include the Andover Stroke Club, Andover Food Bank, Bridge that Gap, Testway Transform and Andover Young Carers.
In 2014 we raised £2450 for
charity. Our commemoration of World War 1 resulted in £1500
going to military charities, and at Christmas we raised £725 for the
Motor Neurone Disease Association and £225 for Andover Foodbank.
In 2012 we supported the Shine Appeal (Sacred Heart, Bournemouth) and fundraising at Holy Trinity, Winchester. In 2011 we raised money for Testway Transform, Andover Food Bank, Help for Heroes and the Royal British Legion. We also contributed towards church funds at a concert in St George's, Oakdale, Poole.
